Olympia is proud to offer after school care in a Christian environment as an alternative to traditional child care. Our staff works hard to keep the kids busy, engaged, and entertained during their time with us. Each day starts with a healthy snack followed by daily gymnastics training, homework time, crafts, and STEM activities in our 18,000 sq. ft. facility.
Olympia has been teaching and training children since 2001. Our goal is not to simply offer gymnastics training to your child, but to make a difference in thier life.
Olympia offers opportunities for students to:
- Build characters and self-confidence
- Develop positive attitudes
- Acquire an appreation for commitments
- Make good use of will power
- Realize that even the most difficult tasks are acheivable through determination and perserverance
- Achieve improved coordination, health, and fitness through sports instruction in a loving, positive, and Christian environment
Our competitive team is by invitation only. We are members of USA Gymnastics and AAU.

About Olympia Gymnastics
About Olympia Gymnastics
Olympia Gymnastics has been serving the people of Berkeley County since 2001. Our current location on HWY 52 in Moncks Corner, SC, is conveniently located to serve the surrounding communities of Goose Creek, Summerville, St. Stephen, Cross, and more. The greater Charleston area is full of wonderful gymnastics training facilities. We believe that we set ourselves apart by not only focusing on a child's athletic training, but also focusing on the whole child. Our goal is to make an impact on your child's life that will benefit them physically, emotionally, spiritually, and psychologically. Lessons learned in the gym can be translated into their daily lives. We hope that what they learn and experience at Olympia will stay with them long after they leave. You can be assured that they are being coached in a positive learning environment by people who strive to make their experience as fun and rewarding as possible.
Our gym is a fully equipped gymnastics training facility for both boys and girls recreational and competitive gymnastics, and tumbling for the aspiring cheerleader.
In addition to gymnastics training, we also offer an After-School Program. Our buses pick up students from local schools and the bus from Whitesville Elementary drops off at our driveway. We provide a daily snack, homework help, and gymnastics classes EVERY DAY. We're open for early dismissal, half-days, and most no-school days (holiday schedules vary based on need).
During the summer months, we offer all day summer camp with at least 3 field trips a week to places like Park, the public library, movie theater, Wannamaker Park, strawberry picking, and much more.

Trista has been involved with gymnastics for over 35 years. She has been a Professional Member of USA Gymnastics and AAU for over 35 years.
Once her competitive years were over, she began coaching at the Summerville YMCA. She successfully managed their progrom before buying Olympia in 2001. She moved the gym from a small building on Main Street in Moncks Corner (currently the Priint Shop) to its current location in 2005. In May 2014, she was able to acquire the entire building making Olympia one of the largest gymnastics facilities in South Carolina. With 18,000 square feet of space, Olympia is now able to offer more programs to more families.
Trista has a bachelor's degree in biology from Charleston Southern Univerisity and taught high school biology at Ferndale Baptist Highschool. She is married to Johnnie and has five children.
If you are interested in any of our programs, feel free to call or stop by the gym at any time.
